Canon PowerShot G5 Digital Camera WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) Driver v6.1.0 For Windows XP.

If you connect your camera to a Windows XP computer with the included USB cable, it is not necessary to install this driver as your camera supports PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol) and the standard driver is included with Windows XP.

However, there are some limitations when using the built-in Windows XP driver as follows:
1. When a camera with a lot of images on the CF card is connected to the computer, and if you download those images using Windows Explorer or the Camera & Scanner Wizard, it takes a lot of time before displaying thumbnails or for the wizard to start.
- The time delay differs according to the each PCs configuration.
- This delay doesn't apply when downloading images to the PC using ZoomBrowser EX.
2. When a camera with a lot of images inside on the CF card is connected and if you download those images to the PC using ZoomBowser EX, the following message may be displayed in some cases.

"This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'switch to' to activate the busy program and correct the problem"

When the above message is displayed, click "Switch To...". If this message is displayed again, click "Switch To..." again. Repeat until the message is no longer displayed.
