This firmware update incorporates the following improvement.

  • Corrects the phenomenon concerning the SD880 IS in which a power loss occurs in the settings below. 1) The shooting mode is set to Kids&Pets (Scene Mode); 2) AF Point-Zoom on the menu is set to On. 3) Shutter button is pressed halfway to focus during shooting. 4) Shutter button is released without fully pressed.
  • All the above conditions have to be met for power loss to occur.
