Creative ZEN Vision PlaysForSure Firmware 1.40.03.

This download contains an improved version of the firmware found on your ZEN Vision. It enables you to play Audible content on your player. For more information, read the rest of this web release note.

Added Features or Enhancements:

  • Supports the playback of Audible Type 2 and 4 tracks. Important: to transfer Audible content, you must have AudibleManager version 5 or later installed. AudibleManager allows you to download, burn, organize, transfer and hear Audible audio content. Download AudibleManager from www.audible.com/software.

    Fixes:

  • Displays short track titles (one line) correctly
  • Ensures proper playback of picture and audio files during a slideshow
  • Improves backlight functionality
  • Ensures proper Idle Shutdown functionality after you view a photo slideshow
  • Names folders correctly when files are appended then copied from your Compact Flash memory card to your player
  • Displays updated Album Art correctly

    Requirements:

  • Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1 or later, Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 or later
  • Windows Media Player 10 or later
  • AudibleManager version 5.00 or later for Audible audio content playback
  • USB 1.1 port (USB 2.0 recommended for faster transfers)
  • Creative ZEN Vision

    To install this firmware, do the following:

  • Download the ZENVisionP4S_PCFW_LF_1_40_03.exe file into your local hard disk. Connect the player to your computer. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the screen.
  • This firmware removes your player\'s FM recording feature.
