Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro Camera Firmware Update v2.18.1. Connect the camera to the PC in DSC mode. (Do not use the cradle.) *Refer to the User's Manual for more information on connecting the camera in DSC mode. 2. Open the "My Computer" window. The camera appears in My Computer as a "Removable disk" or "FinePix" icon. * This varies depending on the operating system and other software used. 3. Double-click the "Removable disk" or "FinePix" icon in My Computer to open the disk window. 4. Drag and drop the downloaded "FPUPDATE.DAT" firmware file into the window opened in step 3. 5. Check that "FPUPDATE.DAT" has been copied to "Removable disk" or "FinePix". 6. Cancel the DSC connection and disconnect the camera from the PC.
The firmware (Ver.2.16 to Ver.2.18 ) update incorporates the following issues. Updates for the setting of the sharpness for JPEG images on the PC control mode.
