Philips SA230/SA235 MP3 Player Firmware V463.729 Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP. SA230 & SA235 firmware V463.729, Please follow the steps below to download and upgrade the latest firmware to your SA220 RUSH Digital Audio Player:
  • 1.Download the zipped file to a temporary directory in your PC
  • 2.Extract the zipped file
  • 3.Uninstall your existing driver at START->PROGRAMs->Philips RUSH Audio Player->Uninstall
  • 4.Restart your computer.
  • 5.Run the setup.exe application file to reinstall the driver.
  • 6.Click NEXT to continue and YES to accept the terms of use to complete the installation.
  • 7.At Start->Programs->Philips RUSH Aduio player click Recovery.
  • 8.The computer will prompt you to connect the RUSH player.
  • 9.Remove the battery from the battery compartment of your RUSH player
  • 10.Hook up the player with your PC
  • 11.Press and hold the PLAY button WHILE inserting a fresh battery into the player. Continue holding down the PLAY button for another 5 seconds
  • 12.An update screen will pop up, uncheck the QUICK DOWNLOAD box and click START to upgrade the firmware of your unit.
  • 11.Please take care not to interrupt or unplug the player from computer when the firmware upgrade is in progress.
  • 12.Once the upgrading process complete, you may click on the removal icon on the task tray to stop and eject the player,
  • when a message saying the USB device can now be safely removed from the system appear click OK, the unit should now be able to resume operation.
